12 Getting started
When the phone is closed
The following applications are
available when the phone is closed:
• Walkman® player
• Standby
• Radio
To activate the external display
• If the phone is open, close it.
• If the phone is closed, press the
volume key.
To lock or unlock the external display
• Slide the keylock switch.
To switch between the applications
• Press .
To use an application
• Press the external navigation key.
External navigation key response
You can set if the phone should sound
or vibrate when you press the external
navigation key.
To set the external navigation key

1 From standby select Menu > Settings
> the Sounds & alerts tab > Key
response > Touch options.
