Calls, contacts, voice control, call
options
Making and receiving calls
You must turn on your phone and be
within range of a network. % 6 Help in
the phone.
To make a call
1 From standby enter a phone number.
2 Select Call.
To redial a number
• When Retry? appears, select Yes.
To answer or reject a call
• Select Answer or open the slider to
answer a call.
• Select Busy to end or reject a call.
To mute the microphone
1 Press and hold down .
2 Press and hold down again to
resume.
To set the loudspeaker
• During a call, select More } Turn On
Speaker or Turn Off Speaker.
To adjust the ear volume
• Press to increase or to
decrease the volume.
Networks
Some network operators allow you to
switch networks manually.
To switch networks
1 From standby select Menu } Settings
} the Connectivity tab } Mobile
Networks } Select Network.
2 Select an option.
Emergency calls
Your phone supports international
emergency numbers, for example, 112
and 911. These numbers can normally
be used to make emergency calls in
For international calls, press and hold
down until a + appears.
Do not hold the phone to your ear when
waiting. When the call connects, the
phone gives a loud signal, unless muted.
Do not hold the phone to your ear when
using the loudspeaker. This could
damage your hearing.
