To edit your PIN
1 From standby select Menu } Settings } General }
Locks } SIM lock } Change PIN.
2 Enter your PIN } OK.
3 Enter a new four- to eight-digit PIN } OK.
4 Re-enter the new PIN to confirm } OK.
To turn the SIM card lock on or off
1 From standby select Menu } Settings } General }
Locks } SIM lock } Protection and select On or Off.
2 Enter your PIN } OK.
Keypad lock
Lock the keypad to avoid dialling a number by accident.
You can still answer an incoming call and the keypad is
locked after the call. The keypad remains locked until you
unlock it manually.
To lock and unlock the keypad manually
• Press } Lock keys.
• To unlock the keypad, press } Unlock.
Automatic keylock
Use automatic keylock in standby to lock the keypad soon
after the last key was pressed.
To set the automatic keylock
From standby select Menu } Settings } General } Locks }
Automatic keylock.
Calls to international emergency numbers 112 or
911, can still be made, even when the keypad is
locked.
