Insert an AAA battery with the positive (+) end of the battery first. Close the battery door by rotating it. Insert the Memory Stick Duo into the slot until it clicks into place. Turn on the HBM-30. Press and hold for 3 seconds.

Handle phone calls Once you have paired the HBM-30 with your phone, you can make and receive calls using the HBM-30 as long as it is turned on and within range of the phone –up to 10 m (30 ft) outdoors or up to 5 m (15 ft) indoors with no solid objects in between.

Press for at least 2 seconds to enable voice dialling. 2. After the beeps, perform voice dialling as you normally would. 3. End the call by pressing . The HBM-30 will start playing again. The display will show track information, followed by elapsed time of the current track.

Troubleshooting Muting the microphone You can mute the microphone during a call. No sound contact between HBM-30 and phone The HBM-30 and the phone you are using with it have to be: • paired to recognize each other • within range of each other.
