Sonos Bundle 250 v Industry Canada The installer of this radio equipment must ensure that the product is located such that it does not emit RF field in excess of Health Canada limits for the general population; consult Safety Code 6, obtainable from Health Canada’s Web site www.hc-sc.gc.ca/rpb. As mentioned before, the installer cannot control the antenna orientation. However, they could place the complete product in a way that causes the problem mentioned above.

It takes just a few steps to get your Sonos Multi-Room Music System up and running (the steps below are fully explained in the Quick Setup Instructions packaged with your Bundle 250) — 1 Connect one ZonePlayer or a ZoneBridge (purchased separately) to your broadband router using an Ethernet cable (supplied). 2 Place the other ZonePlayer(s) in the room(s) of your choice.

ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH 6 Sonos Bundle 250 Adding to an Existing Sonos System Once you’ve got the music playing, you can easily add more Sonos components any time (up to 32 zones). If your house has structured (built-in) wiring, you can make a wired connection to additional ZonePlayers or ZoneBridges. If not, our built-in wireless technology is ideal for you.

Volume up (+) Volume down (-) To mute/unmute this ZonePlayer: Press the Mute button to mute or unmute this ZonePlayer. To mute/unmute all ZonePlayers: Press and hold the Mute button for 3 seconds to mute all ZonePlayers in your household.
11 Sonos Bundle 250 ENGLISH Use the supplied power cord to connect to power outlet. Analog audio in Use a standard RCA audio cable to connect the audio outputs from a separate audio component such as a CD player, to the ZonePlayer’s analog audio inputs. Analog audio out (fixed/variable) Use a standard RCA audio cable to connect the ZonePlayer’s analog audio outputs to the audio inputs on a separate audio component, such as an amplifier or your home theater receiver.

13 Sonos Bundle 250 You may use a standard RCA audio cable to connect the ZonePlayer’s analog audio inputs to the audio outputs from a separate audio component, such as a CD player or a portable music player. Subwoofer output Note: If you disconnect your subwoofer, make sure to also disconnect the subwoofer’s cable from the ZonePlayer output. You may connect a powered subwoofer to this output using a standard RCA cable.
ENGLISH 14 Sonos Bundle 250 • Using the Desktop Controller software, select ZonePlayer Settings from the Zones menu. Select the ZonePlayer attached to the receiver, and then click Settings. Click the Line-Out tab, and choose Variable. 3. Use the Sonos Controller to adjust the volume on your Sonos system so you can ENGLISH hear music. This may be at the high end of the volume scale. 4.
Sonos Bundle 250 15 You can connect an external source such as a CD player, portable music player, or television to your Sonos Multi-Room Music System. The device will be automatically detected as soon as you plug it in. Using a Sonos Controller: • To change the name of this device, select SettingsoZonePlayer Settings. Select the ZonePlayer this source is connected to, and then touch Line-In Source Name. Select a new name from the list, or type a unique name.
16 Sonos Bundle 250 ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH Line-in encoding settings When you have line-in music sources attached to a ZonePlayer, line-in encoding determines how the Sonos Multi-Room Music System will encode the data coming in from these sources. For multi-room audio, we recommend using the Compressed setting. For the highest quality sound, you can select Uncompressed encoding, but this selection requires more network bandwidth than compressed audio.

Touch the Back arrow to return to the previous screen. Music Menu. Touch Music Menu to browse or select music, access playlists, and change the default settings for a Sonos ZonePlayer or Controller. View Queue. Touch View Queue to view the tracks in the current queue. Scrolling/Browsing.
Sonos Bundle 250 19 Light Sensor. The light sensor automatically turns on the button backlights based upon the brightness of the environment. Battery Charge Indicator. Indicates the Controller’s remaining battery charge. The following settings can be adjusted by selecting SettingsoController Settings from the Music Menu: Lock Controller.
ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH 20 Sonos Bundle 250 Screen Brightness. Drag your finger across the slider to adjust the brightness of your Controller screen. Screen brightness is also controlled by the light sensor, so the screen brightness will vary depending upon your environment. Button Brightness. Drag your finger across the slider to adjust the brightness of the buttons on your Controller.
Sonos Bundle 250 21 Radio Music services 1. To add a music service, touch More Music... 2. Select the Sonos-compatible music service you would like to add. 3. Select I already have an account. Type your music service user name and password, and then touch Done. Your user name and password will be verified with the music service.
22 Sonos Bundle 250 ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH Music folders The Sonos Multi-Room Music System can play music from any computer or network-attached storage (NAS) device on your home network where you have shared music folders. During the Sonos setup process, you are guided through the process of accessing these shared music folders. Over time, you may wish to add or remove folders from this list.
23 Sonos Bundle 250 Battery Replacement ENGLISH Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions. (Check with your local waste or recycling company to determine the proper disposal method in your area.) ENGLISH After several years (depending upon usage), the battery on your Controller may not hold a charge as long as it once did. You can purchase a replacement battery (visit our Web site at www.sonos.
ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH ENGLISH 24 Sonos Bundle 250 Basic Troubleshooting Warning: Under no circumstances should the product be repaired by anyone other than an authorized Sonos repair center, as this will invalidate the warranty. Please contact Sonos Customer Support for more information. Do not open the system as there is a risk of electric shock. If a problem occurs, you can try the troubleshooting suggestions listed below.

ENGLISH ENGLISH 26 Sonos Bundle 250 When adding the handheld Sonos Controller, it fails to detect the ZonePlayer(s) Wireless interference or a network problem may be preventing the Controller from joining your Sonos Multi-Room Music System. 1. Verify that this is not a DHCP or network problem • Disconnect the Ethernet cable from the back of the ZonePlayer (or ZoneBridge if you purchased one separately) so that it is not connected to your network.

Change the wireless channel your Sonos system is operating on The Controller is acting sluggish, or all zones aren’t visible ENGLISH You are probably experiencing wireless interference. Change the wireless channel your Sonos system is operating on by following the steps below.
