Also, note that PM preset loads must match the session sample rate and the session channel
configuration to avoid incompatible codec settings (the codecs are sensitive to session sample
rate and channel configuration).
See section 8 for more on the Preset Manager Toolbar
7.1.3 Rule 3: Persistence for plug-in insertion and deletion:
Only the Output Directory, filename Attributes and Offline Encode Headroom selection
are remembered across a delete/insert. All other controls (whether special or otherwise) are
not remembered, and so are defaulted on plug-in insert (notably the Custom String is
defaulted to ‘MyTrack’).
7.2 Other Data
There is limited provision for ID3 metadata. The plug-in inserts the following metadata into
an mp3 stream:
• Date and time
• Codec type, bitrate and other settings
• Encoded by manufacturer message (‘Sonnox Fraunhofer Pro-Codec Plug-in’)
These metadata are inserted into an output stream only; they are not stored internally in the
plug-in, and are not applicable to Presets or session data.
Currently, AAC metadata (eg. for iTunes) is not supported.
