3.8 Offline Encoding
It is possible to encode files offline. To do this, select the OFFLINE ENCODE tab:
Select BROWSE and navigate to a desired file. You can also drag and drop chosen files onto
the window to the left of the BROWSE button.
By default, the output file(s) will be written to the same directory as the source file. Selecting
the Output Dir is from Export Settings check box will force the output file(s) to be written
to the directory specified in the EXPORT SETTINGS window (see previous section).
You can select Trim behaviour via the drop-down selector next to the ENCODE button. The
choices are:
Do not trim.
Use online trim values.
For each codec, prevent decoded levels from clipping by pre-processing the
track.
For each codec, normalise the level by pre-processing the track.
