2.3.7.2 Compressor Release Control
The release control varies the timing behaviour of the compressor during the recovery period
after a gain reduction, when the signal level has reduced from previous levels above the
threshold.
The above diagrams show that action of the release control from minimum to half range
(maximum range is too long to show successfully on this diagram).
