SENDING MESSAGES AND EMAILS
SENDING AN E-MAIL FROM POP3/IMAP
ACCOUNT
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Gmail app
( ) > new Email ( ).
2. Enter the mail recipient in To eld and subject in
the Subject eld in the Compose screen.
3. Tap on the Options ( ). The following options are
displayed:
OPTION DESCRIPTION
Add from
Contacts
Add a contact from the
phonebook.
Condential
mode
Enable Condential mode.
The option Set Expiration is
enabled. The options are:
• Expires in 1 day
• Expires in 1 week
• Expires in 1 month
• Expires in 3 months
• Expires in 5 years
Under Require passcode, tap
on the drop-down list and check
for the following options:
• Standard
• SMS Passcode
All passcodes will be generated
by Google.
Select the desired option and
tap on SAVE ( ).
Save Draft Save composed mail as draft.
Discard Delete the selected email.
Settings Set the general settings.

feedback
You can take the help about the
mail and give feedback.
4. Tap on Attach ( ) icon and the following
options are displayed:
• Attach le
• Insert from Drive
You can import les like picture and documents
which are present in the drive.
5. Enter the message and tap on Send ( ).
READING GMAIL
1. To manually retrieve a new mail from Gmail account,
select Hamburger menu ( ) > Settings ( )
> More option > Manage Accounts > Users &
Accounts page > select a particular account, go to
Account sync > More > Sync now ( ).
OR
You can also retrieve a new mail in by swiping down
the Gmail screen and check for the new mail.
2. Tap on an email to read. The following options are
available when a message is opened:
• Reply
• Reply all
• Forward
• Add to star/Add star
• Archive
• Delete
• Mail icon
• More Option
3. Tap on More ( ) option on the message window
and the following options are displayed:
• Reply all
• Forward
• Add star
• Print
• Mark unread from here
• Block
4. On the same message window, tap on More ( )
option which is present on the top right corner of
the screen. The following options are displayed:
• Move to
• Snooze
• Change labels
• Mark as not important/Mark as important
• Mute
• Print/Print all (Print all option is available when a mail
is forwarded or replied.)
• Report spam
