SENDING MESSAGES AND EMAILS

Alerts
Displays the active alerts in your
area.
4. Tap on Options ( ) > Restore default settings.
The default settings are restored.
DELETING MESSAGES
To delete messages,
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on
Messaging app ( ).
2. Long tap on the message and the message gets
selected. You can also select all the messages by
by tapping on Select All. Tap on Delete ( ).
3. A conrmation message is displayed. Tap on
Delete to delete the message.
OR
4. Tap and open the message to be deleted.
5. Tap on Options ( ) > Delete.
6. A conrmation messsage is displayed. Tap on
Delete to delete the message thread.
7. To delete a single message, select a particular
message and tap on Delete ( ).
SETTING UP GMAIL ACCOUNTS
You have to congure your e-mail account to access
your e-mail box and e-mail services.
SENDING AN E-MAIL FROM POP3/IMAP
ACCOUNT
1. Tap on new Email ( ).
2. Enter the mail recipient in To eld and subject in
the Subject line in the Compose screen.
3. To access other options, tap on Options ( ). The
following options are displayed:

Delete old messages automatically
when the storage limit is reached.

Set the maximum number of SMS
messages to be stored.
Multimedia
message limit
Set the maximum number of MMS
messages to be stored.
Memory status Shows the memory used for SMS,
MMS and the total memory used.
STORAGE DAYS
Delete old
messages by
days
Enable this option to delete the old
messages as days are reached.
Message
expiry days
If the Delete old messages by days
is enabled, this option gets activated.
You can set the expiry days for the
messages to be deleted.
