MANAGING CONTACTS
SETTINGS
You can set the sort list to view the contacts and also the
rst or last name of the contact to be displayed rst.
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. Select Options ( ) > Settings. The following
options are displayed:
• Sort by: Sort the contact names by rst name or
last name.
• Name format: Set the contact display name to First
name rst or last name rst.
• Default account for new contacts: You can select
your phone or email and SIM as a default account
whenever a new contact is added.
• About Contacts: The information on Contact
application version details, Open source licenses,
Privacy policy, and Terms of services are displayed.
MERGE CONTACTS
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. Select Options ( ) > Merge contacts.
Contacts are merged.
SEARCHING A CONTACT
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. Tap Search ( ) and enter the rst few letters/
numbers of the contact name/phone number to
be searched.
All the contacts containing the searched text/
numbers are displayed.
DELETING A CONTACT
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. Scroll to the required contact and long tap on the
contact.
3. Check the box next to the contact you are
wanting to be deleted.
4. Select Options ( ) > Delete.
5. Tap on OK.
The contact is deleted.
SHARING A CONTACT
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. Scroll to the required contact and long tap on the
contact.
3. Check the box next to the contact you are
wanting to share.
4. Tap on Options ( ) > Share.
5. Share with options are displayed with different
applications.
ADDING FAVORITES
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. On the Favorites tab ( ), add a new contact
by tapping on Add contact ( ). You can
add a new contact or select the contact from
Frequently Contacted list as Favorite by tapping
on the star icon which is present on the top corner
of any contact.
The selected contacts gets added as a favorite and is
displayed under the Favorites tab.
SHARE FAVORITE CONTACTS
You can share the favorite contacts.
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. Tap on Favorites tab ( ).
3. Tap on Options ( ) > Import/export.
4. Tap on Share favorite contacts.
5. You can share the favorite contact using following
apps:
• Messages
• Android Beam
• Bluetooth
• Gmail
• Save to Drive
ADDING GROUPS
1. From Home screen or App screen, tap on Contacts
( ).
2. On Groups tab, you can add a contact by tapping
on Add contact ( ), while adding you can
select more elds. You can select Group name
on existing groups or create new group.
3. You can add the contacts under different groups:
• Coworkers
• Family
• Friends
