Sonim supports Virtual Pre-Load (VPL) mechanism
which is also known as Stub to install the EPTT
application.
Enhanced Push-To-Talk (EPTT) requires a subscription
to work. Additional charges may apply. Contact your
representative for more information.
The application must be updated immediately after
device set up, and the keyboard must be set to the
default T9 keyboard to be updated.

1. The device displays EPTT application icon (stub) on
panel 2 of the home screen.
2. Tap the EPTT button on the side of the XP6 phone
or tap the EPTT icon on panel 2 of the home screen
to update the application.
3. Enhanced EPTT application starts downloading
from Google Play and downloads the latest version
of the EPTT client.
Launching EPTT Application
To launch the Enhanced PTT application, click on the
EPTT icon from Home/Application screen.
1. Accept the License agreement.
2. Click Yes to activate the Enhanced Push to Talk
service. The activation can also be processed using
Wi-Fi connection or mobile data.
Once the service is activated, the contacts and
groups are retreived from the server.
