• Activate and access the Internet, and all your
synced accounts using Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Access your phonebook, my les, multimedia les,
all tools and applications.
• View and modify your prole settings.
Setting up and Using Lock Screen
You must lock your phone to protect it from unauthorized
access.
1. From the Home screen or Notcation Panel, tap
Settings ( ).
2. Scroll down and tap Security, located under
Personal settings.
3. Tap Screen lock and select one of the following
options to congure phone:
• None: Disables the phone lock.
• Slide: When the phone is locked, press and
hold * key or swipe to unlock.
• PIN: When enabled, enter you own PIN value.
When the phone is locked, unlock it using the
PIN.
• Password: When enabled, enter your own
password. When the phone is locked, unlock it
using the password.
When the phone is locked, you can answer an incoming
call, without unlocking the phone. Touch the white phone
icon and slide over one of these icons:
Icons Description
To answer the call, either press green
key on the keypad or swipe towards
right on the touch screen.
To reject the call, either press red key on
the keypad or swipe towards left on the
touch screen.
Disconnect the call and respond with
a default text message from a list of
response text messages.
Changing the Wallpaper
You can set an image or a photo stored in your phone as
your home screen wallpaper. To change the wallpaper,
1. Tap and hold on the Home screen. Home screen
actions is displayed.
1. Tap change wallpaper. Choose wallpaper from
popup is displayed.
2. Select from one of the following Wallpaper
collections
• Gallery: includes photos and screenshots
taken using the phone’s camera.
• Live Wallpapers: includes animated
wallpapers.
• Photos: includes photos taken from the phone
camera and the photos from the Google
account.
