XPSI 4.1, Release Note 1. Purpose of This Document 1.1 Document Release The purpose of this document is to help the customer to answer their questions while they use Pcsync tool with Sonim XP3.10 and XP3.20 phones. 2. Content 2.1 How to check the PC tool version? Please open the PC tool software and click on the icon in the right top corner. Refer the below screen shot.

XPSI 4.1, Release Note 3. Questions on Enduro 3.1 PC Tools indicates that no USB device is connected. If the Device Manager shows the phone as being installed using a Generic Sonim driver, but PC Tools indicates that no USB device is connected, then please follow the below steps:- a) connect your XP3 to PC through USB cable b) Go to start > settings > control panel > Phones and Modem > click on modem tab and check the XPx modem and COM port details.

XPSI 4.1, Release Note Now you connect the XP3 through the USB cable, launch the PC tool and select sync manager. System will prompt you to access permission and allow access for 10 min. Phone memory will supports max 500 contacts. 3.4 The message indicates that the phone memory is full while sychronizing the calendar events in Enduro. Support : Max of 30 meeting request can be transferred to phone memory. To check the memory status, please go to Menu > Tools > Organizer > Option > capacity.

XPSI 4.1, Release Note If you already have installed this version, then follow the below steps. 1) When you connect the XP3 to your PC through USB cable, you will be getting the popup like “new hardware available " message 2) Please select “install software automatically" and click OK. So that it will search the driver automatically from the specified path and get installed. 3) Go to start > settings > control panel > Phones and Modem > click on modem tab and check the “XPx modem” and COM port details.

Questions on Quest 4.1 Why the USB drivers are not found after installing the Sonim pc tool for Quest ? USB drivers are embedded with pc tool software itself.Please check whether you have downloaded the correct PC tool or not. The path for downloading XP3 quest PC tool and installation guide is “ http://toughestphone.

XPSI 4.1, Release Note 1) Start -> Start Search(run window) -> then type msconfig and enter. 2) System configuration window will open 3) Go to Tools tab -> Select "Disable UAC" entry -> click on "Launch" button 4) Close the opened windows and Restart the system and try installing PC tools software. 5) When you connect the XP3 to your PC through USB cable, you will be getting the popup like “new hardware available " message 6) Please select “install software automatically" and click OK.

XPSI 4.1, Release Note 4.6 Is it possible to edit .csv file? If yes How to edit this file? ( both enduro and quest ) There are some limitations in .csv format and our Engineering team is working on it. The workaround for this issue is to edit the .csv file with notepad. 1) download the .csv file from sonim XP3 to your PC 2) open this file with notepad 3) Edit, modify or add new contacts 4) save the file and it can be uploaded to sonim XP3 through PC Tools successfully.
