Phone Settings
You can create and modify various settings on your XP3.20
phone. On the Standby screen, select Menu > Settings to
display the options.
General Settings
Select Menu > Settings > General tab. The following
general settings are displayed.
Profiles
You can customise the proles to use features such as
ring volume, ringtones, alert type, key sound and back-
light level. There are seven environment proles present in
this phone. Personal is the default prole, while the other
proles are Car, Flight, Home, Meetings, Outdoor and
Silent.
You cannot change the parameters for the
Flight and Silent modes.
• Personal: This is the default prole where all sounds
are enabled. Parameters in this mode can be
changed. Select Menu > Settings > General tab
> Profiles > Personal > Options > Personalize to
open the Personalize screen. You can use this screen
to choose ring volume, ringtones, alert type, key
sound or backlight level. Select Menu > Settings
> General tab > Profiles > Personal > Options >
Activate to activate this prole.
• Car: Parameters in this mode can be changed. Select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles > Car
> Options > Personalize to open the Personalize
screen. You can use this screen to choose ring
volume, ringtones, alert type, key sound or backlight
level. Select Menu > Settings > General tab >
Profiles > Car > Options > Activate to activate this
prole.
• Flight: Here all sounds are kept in mute. Select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles > Flight
> Options > View to open the View screen. Select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles > Flight >
Options > Activate to activate this prole.
• Home: Parameters in this mode can be changed.
Select Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles
> Home > Options > Personalize to open the
Personalize screen. You can use this screen to
choose ring volume, ringtones, alert type, key sound
or backlight level. Select Menu > Settings > General
tab > Profiles > Home > Options > Activate to
activate this prole.
• Meetings: Here only the vibrate mode is enabled.
Parameters in this mode can be changed. Select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles >
Meetings > Options > Personalize to open the
Personalize screen. You can use this screen to
choose ring volume, ringtones, alert type, key sound
or backlight level. Select Menu > Settings > General
tab > Profiles > Meetings > Options > Activate to
activate this prole.
• Outdoors: Here both the vibrate and ring modes are
enabled. Parameters in this mode can be changed.
Select Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles
> Outdoors > Options > Personalize to open the
Personalize screen. You can use this screen to
choose ring volume, ringtones, alert type, key sound
or backlight level. Select Menu > Settings > General
tab > Profiles > Outdoors > Options > Activate to
activate this prole.
• Silent: Here all sounds are kept in mute. Select
Menu > Settings > General tab > Profiles > Silent >
Options > View to open the View screen. Select
