Managing Connectivity
Packet Data Connection
You can detect the availability of data service in the
network. To congure the connection mode, Select Menu
> Connectivity > Packet Data connection> When
Needed to connect if required OR Always Online to
enable the connection, continuously.
PC Synchronization
You can transfer and backup address book and
messages, between the Sonim XP2.10 SPIRIT phone and
your computer using PC tools application.
Make sure to install the PC Tools application on
your PC, before connecting the PC to phone.
To synchronize the data between the PC and phone,
connect the PC to the phone using USB. Select Menu
> Connectivity > PC Synchronization. The PC is
connected to the phone.
For more information about using the PC tools, refer to the
PC tools application documentation.
USB function
You can connect the phone to the PC using given USB
cable. You can change the USB connection mode, only
when the phone is disconnected from the PC and when
the SD card is inserted.
To set the USB connection mode, select Menu >
Connectivity > USB Data Cable > Normal mode OR
USB Drive Mode.
In normal mode, you can
• Run PC tools application
• Use the phone as a dial-up modem to connect to the
Internet.
In USB drive mode, you can use the memory card as the
ash memory for data transfer.
