Java
Sonim XP2.10 SPIRIT has a collection of Java applications
that are saved in the phone as default. You can also
download more Java applications via WAP, Bluetooth, SD
Card or Java Application Manager.
Pre-installed Java Applications
The following Java applications are pre-installed in Sonim
XP2.10 SPIRIT phone. You can nd more applications in
the Java Application Manager.
• Java Application Manager (JAM): This has an
assorted list of applications that have been tested
by Sonim on the phone. This picks up the latest list
from a server over GPRS/EDGE. You can access
application manager from Menu -> Applications ->
Application manager
• Unit Converter: You can convert one type of
physical units to another type. You can access
unit converter from Menu -> Applications -> Unit
Converter.
JavaHelp
Select Menu > Applications > Java Help. You will
obtain information on how to install Java pre-bundled
applications and how to set the APN.
Installing Java Application from SD Card
Select Menu > My les > Memory card. Select the le
appropriate Java le. The installation process begins.
Once the application is installed successfully, it will be
displayed in Applications.
In order to install the Java applications, the date
and time must be set correctly on the phone.
