Internet Browser
Internet Browser
This mobile phone has an internal Web browser that
allows you to browse contents of various HTTP and WAP
websites on the Internet. This facility is made available
only if you subscribe to a data service from your network
operator for Internet access. You need to consult your
local operator for more details. Congure the WAP when
you use it for the rst time. Some WAP parameters on
your phone have already been set to a specic network
operator. If you utilize the services of the same network
operator you can directly operate the WAP service with
the available conguration. If not, you need to recongure
the settings.
If you are unable to view WAP web pages
because your network operator changed
its WAP parameters or the Internet content
Provider (ICP) changed its WAP web address
or contents, please consult your network
operator and ICP for updates.
Select Menu > Internet > Select. The following sub
menus are displayed:
• Home: The rst page displayed when you open the
Web browser.
• Bookmarks: Add and manage your bookmarks and
go directly to the corresponding web address. You
can also edit or delete bookmarks via this menu.
• History: View web pages which you have viewed
previously. Select them to open the pages.
• Push Messages: Inbox for WAP push messages.
• Settings: Edit the following browser settings:
• Multimedia: Configure the options to download
images, sounds and other multimedia objects.
• Look and Feel: Edit the Web page appearance
features such as font size, text wrap, display
mode and scroll pattern.
• Security: Enable or disable secure prompt,
cookies and cache.
• Browser Prole: Edit the prole details:
• Prole Name: The name of the prole
• Web Protocol: Set the protocol to HTTP or
WAP.
• Proxy Address: The address of the proxy
server.
• Proxy Port Number: The port number of the
proxy server.
• Login name: The user name required to access
the account.
• Password: The password required to access
the account.
• Home URL: The URL of the Message centre
• Delete Temporary Files: Delete Cache,
cookies, and temporary web les.
• Reject Push Message: You can decide to
receive or not receive push messages from
operators and web portals.
