Phone Settings
Display Settings
Press Menu key > Settings > Display. The following
display settings are displayed:
1. Greeting: Select Text or animated flash. Enter the
greeting and Save to make it appear on the screen
while powering on the phone.
2. Wallpaper: Allows you to set the background screen
display using the embedded pictures available in
your phone or from your own pictures that you have
downloaded on to your phone or Memory card.
3. Themes: Allows you to set the colour theme and
icons for the main menu and other screens. There are
two themes available.
4. Active Standby: The active standby icons are
displayed in the home screen, in idle mode. You can
use up/down arrow to select the icon and left/right
to naivgate to the other icons. You can select upto 5
shortcuts to be included.
Power Saving
Press Menu > Settings > Power saving, to conserve
the battery power. The following display settings are
displayed:
1. Backlight Setting: Select the backlight level of the
screen display as, high, medium low or auto.
2. Backlight timer: Keeps the screen display active for
the period chosen by you. Select the screen display
active time.
Security Settings
To prevent unauthorised use of your phone, you can set
PIN protection, safeguard and phonelock.
Press Menu key > Settings > Security Settings.
Pin activate: Set to lock the SIM card. To enable PIN
protection select Activate.
Change Pins : To change the pin, select Change
Pins and change the particular pin password.
Power On Lock : 4 to 8 digit code set to unlock the
phone when it is switched ON.
Phone Lock : 4 to 8 digit code set to prevent the
phone from unauthorized usage.
Change Security Code : Set a new securiy code for
the phone.
Fixed Numbers : Set to restrict outgoing calls to
specic numbers only.
Privacy Guard : Set to protect personal dats such as
phone book, call log, messages, and my les.
SIM Lock: Set to protect the phone from
unauthorized changing of SIM card.
