Phone Settings
Default Input Method
You can change the commonly used text input mode
as your default input method. For example, To set the text
input mode to T9 English, press Menu key > Settings >
Phone > Default Input Method > T9 English, and press
Select.
Shortcut Keys
For easier access,you can assign various menu
settings/tools/applications to the navigation keys and
the number (2-9) keys. press Menu key > Settings >
Phone > Shortcut Key > select the required Navigation/
number key > press the Menu key > select the required
setting/tools/application > press Select.
Autokey Lock
The keypad should be locked automatically when the
phone is in idle state on home screen.
To set a time period for locking the keypad, press
Menu key > Settings > Phone > Auto Key lock > select
the required time period > Select.
Schedule Power On/Off
To set a time for automatically switching Off/On your
phone press Menu key > Settings > Phone > Schedule
Power On/Off > Activate/Deactivate the power On and
Power Off mode> set the time and press Save.
Memory Status
To view the used and memory status for stored
information such as My les is displayed press Menu
key > Settings > Phone > Memory Status > view the
information and press Back to go to the phone settings
menu.
Phone Profiles
You can customise the proles to use Ring tone, Ring type,
Keypad volume, Low battery tone and vibration pattern.
To set a prole select Settings > Phone Proles > select
the required prole press Select.
To edit a prole select Settings > Phone Proles > the
required prole > press Menu > Edit phone Proles >
edit the prole properties and press Back.
There are six environment proles present in this phone.
The proles are,
• Normal: This is the default prole where all sounds
are enabled. Parameters in this mode can be
changed.
• Meetings: Only the vibrate mode is enabled.
Parameters in this mode can be changed.
• Outdoor: Both the vibrate and ring modes are
enabled. Parameters can be changed.
• In Car: Both vibrate and Parameters in this mode can
be changed.
• Silent: All sounds are kept in mute.
• Flight: In this prole you cannot make or receive
any calls and perform any tasks that require network
coverage. You cannot rename Flight modes.
