Sonim Xperience

Wallpaper
The user can select one of the following dynamic
wallpapers:
• Current weather
• 4 hour forecast
• 3 day forecast
The wallpaper is updated periodically. The current
weather and 4 hour forecast wallpapers are updated
every 3 hours. The 3 day forecast wallpaper is updated
every day.
• To display the default wallpaper, select Menu >
Applications > Sonim Xperience > Options >
Wallpaper > Phone default.
• To display the current weather condition as
wallpaper, select Menu > Applications > Sonim
Xperience > Options > Wallpaper > Current
weather.
• To display the 4 hour forecast as wallpaper, select
Menu > Applications > Sonim Xperience > Options
> Wallpaper > 4 hour forecast.
• To display the 3 day forecast as wallpaper, select
Menu > Applications > Sonim Xperience > Options
> Wallpaper > 3 day forecast.
The wallpaper gets refreshed based on
Distance threshold and GPS check interval.
GPS Information
The following information is displayed from GPS:
• Latitude, longitude, altitude and accuracy.
• Speed and direction of movement.
• Current time in UTC.
• Position and signal strength of satellites within the
range.
To view the GPS information, select Menu > Applications
> Sonim Xperience > GPS Information. Select Satellite
to view satellite information.
Weather Report
Weather information can be obtained for the following
locations:
• Current location from GPS.
• A new location whose name or coordinates may be
entered. The name of a location can be the name of a
city or city followed by state or/and country. Different
elds have to be separated by comma. Coordinates
can be entered in decimal or degree:minute:second
format. You can use + or – or use N, S, E or W
in coordinates. Here are some examples of valid
location entries:
• San Mateo
• San Mateo, CA
• New Delhi, India
• 13,18
• 13N,18E
• 13:30:0,18:10:0
• 37.6,-122.3
