settings. To view and modify your mobile network
settings,
1. From the Home screen or Apps Tray, select Menu
> Settings ( ).
2. Select More located under Wireless & Networks
settings.
3. Select Mobile network settings.
4. Enable Data enabled to access the Internet using
your mobile network.
5. Enable Data roaming to have network connectivity
when you are in a roaming network.
6. Select the preferred Network type.
7. Select Access Point Names to view and edit the
network access points. Select Add network ( )
to add a new access point.
8. Select Network operator to view and modify your
network operator from the list of available networks.
You can activate emergency alerts to get emergency
and important broadcast messages from your service
provider.
1. From the Home screen or Apps Tray, select Menu
> Settings ( ).
2. Select More located under Wireless & Networks
settings.
3. Select Emergency Alert. Enable the emergency
alert message types such as extreme threats, severe
threats and amber alerts, that you would wish to
receive.
4. Enable Turn on notication to receive notications
when alerts are sent to your phone.
5. Set the Alert reminder.
