Verifying Your WWAN Connection
This section provides instructions to ensure proper connectivity of your
SonicWALL TZ 190 appliance. This section contains the following sub-sections:
• “WWAN Connection Status” on page 36
• “Manage WWAN Connection” on page 37
• “Check Internet Connectivity” on page 37
Log Into the Management Interface
The SonicWALL TZ 190 Wireless appliance will redirect to the login page after rebooting.
Use your new username and password to log into the appliance after reboot.
Note: If you changed the LAN IP address of the SonicWALL TZ 190 Wireless appliance
during the setup wizard, you may have to re-configure the IP settings on your
computer to access the appliance. For more help with connection issues, turn to
page 25.
WWAN Connection Status
The Network > Interfaces page allows you to view the current WWAN connection
status.
1. In the SonicWALL TZ 190 Wireless appliance management interface, navigate to
Network > Interfaces.
2. In the Interface Settings section, the WWAN interface line displays the current status
as follows:

on hook Indicates that the WWAN card is present but not yet connected.
connected and start-
ing PPP authentication
Indicates that the WWAN card is associated with and currently
attempting a connection to the WWAN network.
connected Indicates an active connection.
