Encoding with the AC-3 Encoder
To encode audio with AC-3 Encoder:
1 Set the Audio Coding Mode to the number of channels that will be used in the project:
1+1: L/Ch1, R/Ch2 One mono audio stream played on both the left and right channels.
1/0: C One mono audio stream played on the center channel.
2/0: L,R Left and right audio streams played on the left and right channels. When using
stereo interleaved files with this mode, select the option for 2-Ch Interleaved Input.
3/0: L, C, R Left and right audio streams played on the left and right channels, and one
mono audio stream played on the center channel.
2/1: L, R, S Left and right audio streams played on the left and right channels, and one
mono audio stream played on the left- and right-surround channels.
3/1: L, C, R, S Left and right audio streams played on the left and right channels, one
mono audio stream played on the center channel, and one mono audio stream played on
the left- and right-surround channels.
2/2: L, R, Ls, Rs Left and right audio streams played on the left and right channels, and
additional left and right audio streams played on the left- and right-surround channels.
3/2: L, C, R, Ls, RS Left and right audio streams played on the left and right channels,
additional left and right audio streams played on the left- and right-surround channels,
and one mono audio stream played on the center channel.
2 Select LFE Enable to generate a low frequency channel.
