264 Appendix A, The Template Wizard

To create a branch pattern with the Branch Wizard:

1 To open the Branch Wizard, do one of the following:

• In Step 11 of the Project Wizard, set the Template Type to Branch Pattern and click the

Template Wizard button. The Branch Wizard opens.

• In the Scenario Editor, select the title folder to which you will add the branch pattern

and choose File > Branch Wizard. The Branch Wizard opens.

• In the Scenario Editor, Right-click the title folder to which you will add the branch

pattern and choose Branch Wizard from the pop-up menu. The Branch Wizard opens.

2 Add the menu that will branch to the other video or still image assets:

• Select the Not Speciﬁed menu icon in the Branch Play area of the Branch Wizard

window. The Video, Audio, Subpicture, and Track Type ﬁelds appear.

• Drag a still image or video asset from Windows Explorer to the Video ﬁeld in the Branch

Wizard window. The Not Speciﬁed name changes to the name of the dragged asset. If

dragging a still image asset, the Track Type is set to Still Menu and the still image is

displayed in the Preview area. If dragging a video asset, the Track Type is set to video and

the ﬁrst frame of the video asset is displayed in the Preview area.
