Command Groups
There are six groups of navigation commands, consisting of a total of 39 instructions, as
shown in Table 7.
Command Types
There are three types of navigation commands you can create from the six command
groups:
Type 1 Commands made from one instruction from any command group. Note that
Compare, when combined with GoTo, Link, or Jump, is classified as a Type 1 command in
the DVD Specification.
Type 2 Commands made from two instructions. You can form a Type 2 command by using
Compare with Set or SetSystem. Set or SetSystem, when used either by themselves or with
Link or Compare, are also classified as Type 2 commands in the DVD Spec.
Type 3 Commands made from the Compare, Set, and LinkSIns (Link by SubInstruction)
commands.
