Jump Commands 195
Jump Commands
Jump commands allow you to link menus and titles to other menus and titles, even if they
reside in other title folders. Common uses of Jump commands include directing playback
from one PGC to another, looping a PGC, and linking button highlights to a menu or title.
Jump commands are easily added by dragging between PGC flags in the Scenario Editor.

Jump Command Types
When adding Jump commands by dragging between items in the Scenario Editor, the
appropriate Jump command is automatically added. The available Jump commands, any of
which can be selected in the Simulation window (see “Building Type 1, Type 2, and Type 3
Commands” on page 207), include:
Jump to PGC Links a menu or title to another menu or title in the same VTS.
Jump to Program Links a menu or title to a chapter in the same PGC.
Jump to Cell Links a menu or title to the cell of the same PGC.
Jump by Sub-Instructions Links a menu highlight button or a cell to the previous, current,
or next cell, program, or PGC within the same VTS. Can also be used to assign a value of
SPRM (8) to a highlight button. Resume is the only Jump by Sub-Instructions option that can
be used as a Pre or Post command.
Jump to Title Links a menu or title to any title domain in the same VTS.
