VTS and Title Folders
The number of VTSs you will need for a project depends on several factors. If the project
consists of a single large title or several related titles, one VTS may be sufficient. However, if
the project includes several groups of titles, or contains titles authored in a different format
or aspect ratio, multiple VTSs may be required.
Another consideration is how the viewer will interact with the DVD. The TITLE button on
the remote control returns play to the title menu. The MENU button returns play to the root
menu of the VTS for the currently active title or menu. It therefore makes sense to author
the DVD so that the viewer can take advantage of these functions.

Adding VTS Folders
When you create a scenario with the Project Wizard, you can specify the number of VTSs
the project will contain. If you need more VTSs than originally thought, you can add them in
the Scenario Editor. If you decide you have more VTSs than you need, you can easily delete
them.
To add a VTS folder to the scenario:
1 Right-click the red Scenario folder in the Scenario Editor directory area, or on any empty
space in the Scenario Editor authoring area.
2 Choose Add VTS from the pop-up menu that appears.
