154 Chapter 10, Subpicture Colors and Effects
4 Define a new Custom color. Click Define Custom Color to expand the Color dialog and
do the following:
Click in the color rainbow to choose the new color (drag the Luminance control on the
right side of the dialog to make any necessary adjustments). You can also enter numeric
values in the fields for Hue, Saturation, and Luminance and Red, Green, and Blue.
Click Add to Custom Colors” to add the new color to the Custom Colors.
Select the new Custom Color and click OK to close the Color dialog. The new color
appears in the color palette.
Subpicture Effects
You can use subpicture effects such as fade, scroll, and wipe to affect the movement, color,
and transparency of the layer.
Note: Subpicture effects can only be used on tracks that do not contain a highlight layer
(no buttons).
