Subpicture Color Mapping 149
To identify the subpicture Original Colors manually:
1 In the Track Editor directory area, select the track containing the subpicture for which
you will identify the Original Colors.
2 If the Simulation window is not visible, select View > Simulation Window.
3 In the Simulation window, click the Subpicture and Highlight tab, then scroll to the
Colors page with the Left-Right arrows (on the right side of the tab).
4 Double-click one of the four Original Colors (E2, E1, P, or Bg) on the left side of the
Colors page. The Color Conversion dialog opens.
5 Do one of the following:
• Click the color swatch and select a color from the pop-up color palette, or choose Other
and define a Custom Color.
• Adjust the Color Values manually with the horizontal sliders, or enter RGB values directly
in the Color Value fields.
• Use the red, green and blue Operators to broaden the range of colors that Scenarist
recognizes, either alone or in combination with the other color values. The following
operators are available for each color value: and, equal (=), less than (<), greater than
(>), and not applicable (n/a).
6 Click OK to close the Color Conversion dialog.
7 Repeat the previous steps for any additional subpicture colors you want to identify.
