To create a 16:9 menu track:
1 Click the Track Editor tab to display the Track Editor and do one of the following:
• To create a still menu track, drag a still image background asset to a track folder in the
Track Editor directory area. When prompted to specify the track type you want to create,
select Still Menu and click OK. A still menu track is added to the folder.
• To create a motion menu track, drag a video background asset to a track folder in the
Track Editor directory area. A video track is added to the folder.
2 In the Track Editor directory area, select the new menu track. The timeline displays the
track’s streams.
3 Add the first (Wide) subpicture stream:
• Drag the Wide subpicture asset to the track’s timeline. Subpicture and highlight streams
are added to the track.
• Set the subpicture stream to Wide by selecting only the W button.
4 Add the second (Letterbox) subpicture stream:
• Drag the Letterbox subpicture asset to the track’s timeline. A second subpicture stream is
added to the track.
• Set the subpicture stream to Letterbox by selecting only the L button.
