Importing Closed Captioning
To import closed captioning to a video track:
1 In the Track Editor directory area, select the video track to which you will add
captioning. The track’s streams are displayed in the timeline.
2 Select the track’s video stream in the timeline.
3 In the Property Browser, double-click the Data field and scroll down to the bottom of the
Property Browser.
4 To import captioning from a File 1 script:
• Select the Line21 Switch1 option.
• Click the Browse button for the Line21 File1 field and select the caption file you want to
import, then click Open.
5 To import captioning from a File 2 script:
• Select the Line21 Switch2 option.
• Click the Browse button for the Line21 File2 field and select the caption file you want to
import, then click Open.
Note: Check with your captioning house to verify which captioning format they provide.
