Adding Scenes to Video Tracks 105
To add a scene to a video track:
1 In the Track Editor directory, select the track to which you will add the scene. The track’s
video stream is displayed in the timeline.
2 Do one of the following:
• In the Time Code field in the Tools Bar, type the location where you want to insert the
scene and press Enter. The Timeline indicator updates to the entered location.
• In the scene stream, drag the Timeline indicator to the location where you want to insert
the scene. If necessary, zoom in with the Zoom In button to provide finer resolution
when dragging the Timeline indicator.
3 Choose New > New Scene or click the New Scene button in the Tools Bar. A scene is
added to the track and appears as a thumbnail (with a time code location) in the stream.
4 If necessary, adjust the scene location by doing one of the following:
• Click the scene in the Track Editor timeline, open the Property Browser, and enter the
new location in the Scene Time field. The scene icon moves and its thumbnail updates.
• In the Track Editor timeline, move the cursor over the left edge of the scene icon (so the
Drag cursor appears), and drag the scene to the new location. The scene icon moves and
its thumbnail updates.
