Replacing Place Holders with Assets
Once the assets for which you have created place holders are finally prepared and encoded,
they can replace the place holders.
To replace place holders with prepared assets:
1 In the Data Editor, select the place holder you want to replace.
2 In the Property Browser, click the Browse button for the File field, select the asset that
will replace the place holder, and click Save.
3 Repeat the previous steps for each place holder you want to replace.
4 In the Data Editor, select the place holders you want to update and do one of the
following:
• Choose Tools > Place Holder –> Data.
• Right-click and choose Place Holder –> Data from the pop-up menu.
The place holders are replaced with new assets and their icons are updated in the Data
Editor authoring area.
Note: You can use the Replace Place Holder command in the Tools menu to update only
place holders of a certain type. This is useful, for example, if you want to replace all of the
audio or still image place holders in the project.
