8 In the Create Audio Set window, do the following:
• Type DolbyDigital in the Name field.
• In the Audio Format box, select Dolby Digital.
• Select 192 as the encoding Bit Rate.
• Click SAVE.
9 In the Encode Setup window, do the following:
• Enter the name of the source tape.
• Type a start and an end timecode so that you are encoding two minutes
worth of material (the exact timecodes will vary depending on the
source tape).
• Click OK.
4. Click Save.

VD Creator allows you to encode audio into

hree DVD-compliant formats:
• Dolby Digital Stereo - This is the most
common audio format.
• MPEG-2 Stereo Audio - MPEG stereo is an
alternate compressed audio format.
• PCM Stereo - This is the only uncompressed
audio format and, as such, takes up much
more space than Dolby Digital or MPEG
audio.
