DEFAULT SDS CHANNEL WHEN SAVING (1 TO 16) DEFAULT: 1
Specifies the channel used in SDS packets when saving audio as an SDS file.
DEFAULT SDS PATCH WHEN SAVING (0 TO 127) DEFAULT: 0
Specifies the patch used in SDS packets when saving audio as an SDS file.
DEFAULT DIALOGIC VOX SAMPLE RATE FOR OPEN (HZ) DEFAULT: 8,000 HZ
Specifies the default sample rate used when opening Dialogic VOX sound files
in Sound Forge XP. This option is necessary because Dialogic VOX sound files
do not contain this information. Typical settings for this option are 6,000 Hz
and 8,000 Hz.
ASSOCIATE SOUND FILE EXTENSIONS
This button opens the Sound File Associations dialog.This dialog provides a method
of associating audio files with Sound Forge XP. When a file is associated with
Sound Forge XP, you can double-click on a sound file in the File Manager or the
Windows 9x Explorer and it will open for editing.
File types to associate
The list displayed contains all sound file formats that Sound Forge XP supports.
If a sound file extension is associated with an application, then the name of the
application is displayed on the right. If a sound file is associated with Sound
Forge XP, then a check mark is placed in the box to the left of the item. To
associate an item with Sound Forge XP, check the item and select OK.
File association details
When a sound file extension is associated with Sound Forge XP,Windows will
open Sound Forge XP to edit any files with the extension when selected. For
example, if you double-click on a file with an extension that is associated with
Sound Forge XP in the File Manager or the Windows 9x Explorer, Sound Forge XP
will automatically run and the sound file will be opened for editing.
Select All
Pushing this button will select all sound files to be associated with Sound Forge
XP.
Select None
Pushing this button will de-select all sound files so no files are associated with
Sound Forge XP.
