SHOW ALL ACM CONVERT FORMATS IN SAVE AS DEFAULT: CHECKED
When enabled, Sound Forge XP will enumerate all compression formats
available for each ACM compressor. However, this enumeration process can
take long on slow machines. For simple ACM codecs (Microsoft ADPCM, IMA
ADPCM, etc.), this option is unnecessary (they have only one compression type
per input) and could be disabled to speed up the selection of ACM formats.
SHOW FREE STORAGE SPACE ON STATUS BAR DEFAULT: CHECKED
When this option is turned on, the total amount of free disk space available on
your specified temporary drive is displayed on the status bar.
SHOW SHUTTLE CONTROLS ON DEFAULT: UNCHECKED
DATA WINDOW TRANSPORT
When enabled, Rewind and Forward buttons will appear on each Data
Window’s Transport.
SHOW OLE DRAG SOURCE ON DEFAULT: CHECKED
DATA WINDOW TRANSPORT
When checked, the OLE Drag Source control is displayed on the right side of the
status bar in all data windows. This provides a convenient method of creating
Sound Forge XP audio objects that can be embedded into other documents. If
you do not use this feature and want to reclaim the space for the status bar,
simply clear this option.
RECENTLY USED FILE LIST DEFAULT: ENABLED (2 TO 9)
This option allows you to set the number of recently used files that will appear
in the File menu. If you do not wish to have any files listed in the File menu,
clear the check box for this option.
DISPLAY
Use to set your display preferences.
NORMAL ZOOM RATIO DEFAULT: 1:1 TO 1: 524,288
Specifies the default zoom magnification when loading a new sound file or
using the Zoom Normal command. This allows you to control the maximum data
that will be shown in a data window when a file is opened. Higher values show
more data on initial file loading.
