Shortcut:

To zoom in and out vertically by small increments, you can use
Shift+Up or Shift+Down arrow keys or the Level Zoom
In/Out buttons on the lower left-hand side of the data window.
ZOOM TIME (HORIZONTAL)
IN FULL
Use this command to maximize the horizontal magnification to one sample
per pixel on the screen. When you zoom in full, the entire waveform display
length will span a very small amount of time, usually around 20 milliseconds
(depending on the sample rate and window size).

NORMAL
Use this command to zoom out to the default zoom ratio preference setting. If
the entire sound file can fit in the window at a closer magnification, zoom
normal will only zoom out to that ratio.
To change the default for the Normal zoom ratio, go to the Display page in the
Preferences folder (Options menu).
OUT FULL
Use this command to zoom out to the lowest magnification so that the entire
sound file will fit on the screen.
