CUT
Use this command to remove selected sound data and put it onto the
clipboard. This command has no effect if there is no selected data. Cutting
sound data replaces the previous contents of the clipboard.
Cutting data from the beginning of a very large file will take a long time to
process. This is because large amounts of data need to be moved.
You cannot cut from a single channel in a stereo file since the two
channels in a stereo file must always be equal in length. To shift a single
channel in time, use Delay/Echo in the Effects menu.

This option is only available in the 32-bit version of Sound Forge XP.
Use this command to copy an object link for the active sound file onto the
clipboard. You can then Paste (or Paste Special) the link into another application
(such as Microsoft Word or Write) that supports Object Linking and Embedding
(OLE). This feature is useful for embedding sound files in documents.
