CHORUS
The Chorus function is used to simulate multiple sound sources from a single
sound. This is achieved by mixing a delayed, pitch-modulated copy of itself to
the sound source.
To apply the Chorus effect:
1. Open TUTOR1.WAV. Select Chorus from the Effects menu. The Chorus dialog
will appear.
2. The buttons on the Chorus dialog provide variations on the chorus effect. For
an introduction to this feature, select the Vibrato option. Click OK and play
the sound, which has a richer, fuller quality than the original.
FLANGE
The Flange function is used to create the sweeping effects often heard in 60’s
guitar recordings and techno-sounds of today.
To hear what flanging sounds like:
1. Open TUTOR1.WAV. Select Flange from the Effects menu. The Flange dialog
will appear.
