" Fastening the rack and pinion
• The rack and pinion must be
fastened to the gate brace.
• Use screws suitable to the material
of your gate (see page 8).
• Never lubricate the motor rack or
pinion.

• Open the gate completely.
• Position the pencil in the notches provided for
this purpose then slide the gate to mark the
anchoring point.
• Position the rack by aligning the top of the
oblongs holes with the mark.
• Fasten the first element of the rack at the top of
the oblong holes, beginning at the le-hand side
of the gate.
• Install and fasten the other items in the same
way, interlocking them with the others.
If required to anchor the rack, you can raise the motor by a maximum of 30 mm.
• Remove the motor and the mounting plate from the pins.
• Insert a nut and washer on each pin and position at the desired height (max. 30 mm from the ground).
• Replace the plate and motor on the pins.
• Check that the plate and motor are level.
• Fastening the rack at the top
of the oblong holes ensures
the 2 mm clearance necessary
between the rack and pinion.
• If the fastening points are too
close to the edge of the brace:
fasten the rack at the centre of
the oblong holes.
