Chapter 4: Installation Procedures
I NSTALLING THE NPM R ACKS
These procedures describe how to prepare the floor for rack installation, move
the racks into place, and secure the racks to each other, to the floor, and to the
ceiling.
Table 4.1 shows the actions described in this section.
NOTE: When you install the NPM racks, finish positioning and
leveling the first rack before proceeding to the second rack. This
makes leveling the racks easier and minimizes the potential for
errors that may occur during rack placement.
The NPM is suitable for mounting on concrete or other non-
combustible surfaces only.
