Amosphere NPM Installation Procedures (MMDS)
C ONFIGURING C ARDS AND S HELVES
Some of the jumpers and switches on the cards and shelves in the NPM
basestation require configurations which differ from the factory defaults. This
section provides the procedures for making the necessary alterations.
Table 3.4 shows the actions described in this section.
NOTE: Older basestations may use ZT5550 cards for the utility
bus and radio sector controllers and ZT5541 cards for the
application hosts. If the basestation uses these cards, see
“Discontinued NPM Equipment” on page 137 for pre-installation
configuration procedures.
See your field engineering package (FEP) for information about
the cards used in the basestation.
