Tools
The following tools are recommended for a typical NPM basestation installation:
NOTE: Ensure that your torque wrenches are correctly
calibrated according to the methods and schedule specified by
the manufacturer. The calibration date should be indicated on
each wrench.
 Allen key set  Platform stepladder (6-foot)
 Bolt cutter  Plumb bob
 Cable ties  Portable bandsaw kit
 Chalk line  Scissors
 Drill bits (metal and masonry)  Scratch awl
 Electrical tape  Shims (for leveling NPM)
 Extension cord  Socket sets (Imperial and metric)
 Flat file  Strap (with buckle)
 Framing square  Tape measures (linen and metal)
 Hacksaw (with blades)  Thomas and Betts (T&B) crimper
 Hammer drill  Torpedo level
 Heat gun (with heat shrink roll)  Torque wrenches
 Label maker  Utility knife
 Marking pencil  Wrench sets (Imperial and metric)
 Oxide-inhibiting compound  Vacuum cleaner with high-efficiency
particulate air (HEPA) filter
