Amosphere NPM Installation Procedures (MMDS)
Install the Main and Diversity Antennas
This procedure describes the general process for installing the main and diversity
antennas. Consult your field engineering package (FEP) for any site-specific
antenna installation requirements.
Figure 4.21 shows the configuration of the main or diversity antenna).

Before You Begin
Before you install the antennas:
 Select an installation location away from any objects that might obstruct
the RF signals. Although the NPM basestation has non-line-of-site RF
capability, obstructions may reduce the strength of the transmission or
reception signals.
 Ensure that the type and length of cabling used to connect the main and
diversity antennas to the RFSS modules meet your attenuation and
shielding requirements.
