SECTION 4 – FIRST AID MEASURES
Eye Contact: Hold eyes open, remove any contact lenses and immediately flush eyes with plenty of cool
water for 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin Contact: Completely remove contaminated clothing, wash skin with cool water and mild soap. If
irritation persists, get medical attention
Ingestion: Drink a glassful of water, do not induce vomiting. Never give an unconscious person anything
to ingest. Call a doctor or poison control center
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing problems develop, seek medical attention
Signs and symptoms of exposure: Ingestion: possible mild gastrointestinal irritation with nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea –
large ingestions may cause temporary dizziness, lack of coordination and headache
Eye Contact: may result in stinging, tearing, itching, swelling, redness and/or severe irritation
Skin Contact: use on irritated or extremely dry skin may aggravate the existing condition
Inhalation: inhalation of significant amounts of aerosolized product may cause respiratory
irritation
Notes to physician: Contains surfactants, glycol ether, fragrance and dye
SECTION 5 – FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing media: Foam, carbon dioxide, dry chemical – adding water to this product may generate
large amounts of heat – direct water spray may spread fire
Specific hazards during fire-fighting: This product is not combustible, but containers may rupture in a fire situation.
Violent steam generation may occur upon application of direct water stream to
hot liquids. Thermal decomposition or burning may produce noxious and/or toxic
fumes including oxides or carbon and nitrogen. Incomplete combustion may form
carbon monoxide. Evacuate downwind personnel
Special protective equipment for firefighters: Wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and protective
fire-fighting clothing. If protective equipment is not available or not used, fight fire
from a protected location or safe distance
SECTION 6 – ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill response: Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Stop leak(s) only if you can do so without risk. Prevent
release into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Dilute the spilled material with water. Flush
spill area with water and cover with sand, clay or dry earth and transfer waste to labeled containers
Other precautions: Evacuate personnel and ventilate area around spill. Keep personnel upwind of spill. Only trained and
properly protected personnel must be involved in clean-up operations. Use appropriate safety equipment
SECTION 7 – HANDLING AND STORAGE
Keep out of reach of children and pets. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing vapors. Do not ingest. Do not
mix with other household chemicals, as hazardous gases could be released. Keep container closed when not in use and store in a
cool, dry place. Do not reuse empty container. Do not expose product to extreme hot or cold temperatures
