Instructions

1 Fill the tube up to the mark with the test water.

2 Slowly allow the indicator solution to drop in with

continual swivelling.

3 Count the drops until the colour change from pink

to blue is complete.

Calculation:

Indicator drops x 0.5 = TH (°dH)

A drop of indicator solution equals 0.5°dH.

Evaluation:

•

If the determined value is 5°dH or more, the total

hardnessissufcient.

•Ifthevalueisbelow5°dHthetotalhardnessistoo

low.
