HROU(HighpowerRemoteOpticUnit)
3.1 HROU (High power Remote Optic Unit)
HROU consists of two unit, one is HMRU(High power Main Remote Unit) and the other is HARU(High
powerAddonRemoteUnit).
The biggest difference between HMRU and HARU is whether ROPTIC module exist or not in the
enclosure.
HMRUreceivesTXopticalsignalsfromODUandconvertstheminto
RFsignals.TheconvertedRFsignals
areamplifiedthroughHighPowerAmpinacorresponding HRDUbandcombinedwithUDCU,PAUand
Cavityduplexer,andthenradiatedtotheantennaport.
When receiving RX signals through the antenna port, this unit filters outofband signals in a
corresponding HRDU
and sends the results to ROPTIC to make electronicopticalconversion of them.
Afterconverted,thesignalsaresenttoaupperdeviceofODU.HMRUcanbeequippedwithuptofour
HRDUs(HighRemoteDriveUnit)andthemodulesupportssinglebandonly.
HARU receives TX RF signal
from HMRU and amplifies through High Power Amp in a corresponding
HRDUcombinedwithUDCU,PAUandCavityduplexer,andthenradiatedtotheCU(CombiningUnit)
When receiving RX signals through the antenna port, HHRDU filters outof band signal in a
correspondingHRDUandsendstheresultstoMHRU
throughRFcable.
