Notes:

1. U-FLANGE INLET - Fastened to inlet collar. L-ange/slip connector is standard.

2. OUTLET FLANGE - Fastened to the outlet. L-Flange Outlet is required for use of optional discharge shutter or

optional outlet screen. The standard unit is stocked without a ange.

3. INLET GUARD - Made out of heavy steel wire rings for lower pressure drop.

4. OUTLET GUARD - Galvanized expanded metal. Not available with discharge shutter. Outlet ange outlet

required.

5. SHAFT SEAL - Non-asbestos woven brous materials sandwiched between the fan housing and aluminum cover

plate. The shaft seal does not make the fan gas tight.

6. DISCHARGE SHUTTERS – Heavy-duty interconnecting blade design opening by air velocity and closed by

gravity. Cannot be used for volume control. Cannot be motorized. Discharge shutter requires use of Outlet

Flange. Compatible with standard factory positions only.

7. GREASE TROUGH - Metal grease container designed to collect grease residue and avoid drainage onto roof

surface.

8. VIBRATION RAILS-RIS - A set of rubber in shear pads that ship loose for eld mounting.

9. VIBRATION RAILS-SPRING - A set of spring pads that ship loose for eld mounting.

10. DISCONNECT SWITCH - Allows for fan electrical cut o󰀨 for servicing or inspecting. Use only the raintight

switches when the switch is located outdoors or in a potentially wet location.
