Centrifugal Spun Aluminum Line Overview
E󰀩cient Engineering, Manufacturing and Performance
Wheels feature curved blade design for more CFM per HP and lower sound
levels
Airow analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) during the design
process of the wheel and fan to ensure the units would perform at the most
e󰀩cient levels possible
Improved cooling vanes on the wheel to promote better cooling capability which
maximizes the life of the motor and drive components
Commonized parts across the line, which adds up to cost savings and lower
cost units for the customer
New dome shaped top allowing for a single pass in the spinning process,
reducing cost when manufacturing
Curb cap sizes designed to match the competition for easy replacement of our
competitor’s fans. No need to replace the existing roof curb or purchase a curb-
cap adaptor, which increases the overall cost of the unit
The Strongest Fans Are Now STRONGER
Stress points are more evenly distributed throughout the fan base, providing for
more stability during shipping and reducing vibration when the fan is operating
The fan base is separated from the motor compartment with improved vibration
isolators to reduce vibration and noise between the drive system and fan base
Bead added to the fan shroud for more strength
Increased motor compartment base strength Added bead to the dome shaped
top to increase strength and allow for single point latches to reduce material
A Robust Product That Is Easier to Service
Easy to remove motor compartments for accessing and servicing the wheel
Motor mounting location moved to allow for better motor t and easier
adjustment in the eld
When we started the project to improve our upblast and downblast spun aluminum
power roof ventilators we set fan e󰀩ciency as our number one goal. We knew the
wheel, the heart of the unit, was the place to start so we took meticulous steps to
design and engineer the most e󰀩cient and cost e󰀨ective wheel we could. Our new
wheel features curved blades, solid rivets and improved cooling vanes which together
ensure the best fan performances possible.
Since e󰀩ciency was a key factor in the design we looked to increase our manufacturing
e󰀩ciency to save on costs and ultimately save you, the customer, money. Commonizing parts, improving
manufacturing processes and creating a more robust product not only created a lower priced unit, but also
lowered the operating cost over the lifetime of the product. Additionally, through improvements to important
structural components of the fans we increased the overall strength of our centrifugal fans compared to our
older models*. We are proud to say we have created a product line that you can be sure is one of the most
e󰀩cient and robust available on the market today.
